35 Harvey Street

35 Harvey Street is a fully rehabilitated 12-unit residential development located in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our team was responsible for executing the complete mechanical scope encompassing HVAC and hydronic heating systems tailored for energy-efficient, space-constrained urban construction.

Our HVAC work included the installation of high-performance ducted and ductless systems using multi-zone heat pumps, along with custom ductwork, booster hot water coils, and energy recovery ventilators for fresh air delivery across all units. Each zone was controlled with programmable thermostats, WiFi-ready integration, and balancing dampers for efficient airflow. Ventilation was carefully planned with exhaust fans, outdoor air intakes, and dampers to meet code while minimizing noise and vibration in a dense, multi-floor environment.

On the plumbing side, we delivered complete hot water hydronic distribution to panel radiators and booster coils, including risers and returns sized and routed per architectural constraints. Coordination across all trades and levels ensured precise placement of penetrations, cleanouts, and access panels, supporting smooth inspections and long-term serviceability.
