Hano Homes

Hano Homes is a 20-unit residential redevelopment project located in Allston, Massachusetts. Our company provided the complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scope for this multi-family renovation, supporting the comprehensive modernization of building systems to meet current energy and comfort standards.

On the HVAC side, we installed a high-efficiency Mitsubishi heat pump system with ducted and ductless indoor units, tailored for each apartment. Ventilation was enhanced with energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) and duct-mounted booster hot water coils to improve indoor air quality and seasonal comfort. The hydronic heating system included new piping distribution and wall-mounted panel radiators in living spaces.

Our plumbing work involved the full replacement of domestic water and sanitary lines, fixture rough-in and trim-out in all units, and connections to mechanical equipment including hot water unit heaters and booster coils.

The electrical scope covered panel replacements, new circuiting for HVAC and lighting, device and fixture installation, and code-compliant upgrades to support system interlocks and programmable thermostats across the building.

We coordinated closely with the general contractor and design team to phase installations in alignment with structural and architectural work. The Hano Homes project showcases our ability to deliver complex, multi-scope upgrades within occupied urban housing, while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and system performance.
